THE DREAM
In
my dream, the Lord had lifted me into the sky. I
saw myself encircled by a multitude of birds. I looked
around and realized that I had plenty of food. The birds
fluttered and I gave each one of them something to eat. I
realized that there were many birds to be fed, and I woke
up. The dream was so vivid that I knew that there was
something that I was supposed to get from it. I thought for
a while, but I could not draw any conclusions from the
dream.
That night I got on my knees
and prayed a serious prayer expecting the Lord to help me
understand the dream. Behold, the Lord gave me yet another
dream. In this dream, I saw myself in a large building with
boxes that were filled with soap. I stood at the door where
I saw many people that were lined up coming towards me. I
started giving away the boxes of soaps to the people and
suddenly I woke up. Once again, the dream was so vivid that
I knew that there was significance to the dream. I laid the
dream in the hands of God in prayer asking Him to reveal to
me understanding of the dreams.
Ten years passed and I bought
my own computer. After five years as an immigrant in the
United States of America, I wanted to design a letter head
to write letters to my old friends back home in Africa. As I
sat down at my office in front of my new computer, a word of
knowledge came into my mind to put down "God's Children
International", and the spirit of the living God (Holy
Spirit) spoke "This is it". I got confused! I did not know
or understand what this meant. I started to wonder what the
words, "This is it," meant.
As I sat there confused, the
Lord reminded me of my dreams that I had 10 years ago. He
revealed to me that the two dreams are one in the same. The
innumerable birds formed in a circle represented the world
with God's children. A multitude of birds encircled around
me are God's children on earth. The people coming to me,
lined up are God's children on earth; and the food and soap
I gave were the Word of God. My constant prayer and faith in
the Lord has given me a clear understanding of my dreams and
the knowledge of what God has called me to do. "This is it"
meant that the precious name the Lord had given to this
organization is, "God's Children International, Inc." Now I
know. It is my calling to bring God’s Children International
to as many as I can.
